Welcome to the all-new bdjbox.com!

I saw this on Instagram recently and I was just floored! Apparently, there’s a wrong way and a right way to wear a bobby pin—and I’ve been doing it incorrectly my whole life!

I gave it a try and it really did work! Now I don’t have to mist my bobby pins with hairspray to make them stick to my strands (you can still do this though if your locks are extra slippery). So how do you do it exactly? Just slip those hairpins in with the ridges facing down and touching your scalp. The extra friction will keep ’em from falling out. Pretty cool, huh?
