BabyPowder

It saddens me when I see women applying baby powder on their faces in the bathrooms of malls. While it can absorb oil, it doesn’t do much for your complexion—unless you like the espasol look. But even though it’s a no-no to use baby powder this way, there are still other awesome beauty uses for it. Try these two tricks out:

1. To Fatten Your Lashes
Curl your lashes and apply a coat of mascara. Then, sweep a cotton bud dipped in baby powder over your lashes again. This will work like a fibers, so when you wiggle on your next coat of mascara, you’ll score thicker, volumized lashes.

2. To Use as Dry Shampoo
No time to wash your hair? Simply dip a fluffy brush into some baby powder, tap off the excess, and dust it lightly over your scalp. This will help absorb the excess oil, but try not to do it too often and shampoo your strands as soon as you can to avoid getting dandruff.

What are your other uses for baby powder, Bellas?

  1. Using of powder as dry shampoo really helps! I always do it, and I will also try baby powder to fatten my lashes. Thanks for the tip!
