I feel like I’m a city girl most days. However, some days I get suffocated from the concrete, the fast pace of city life, and the constant connectivity of it all. Can you relate, dear Bellas?
These musings have recently been expressed through a new scent by a Japanese artist who’s in love with a city we all love: Paris. In his latest creation, Issey Miyake captures the scent of a flower blossoming amidst the modernity of life. L’eau d’Issey Miyake City Blossom has for top notes pink peppercorn, a sprinkling of citrus notes, and a hint of calone as a nod to the legendary L’Eau d’Issey.
For its mid notes, it has honey-like osmanthus flowers, freesia, and magnolia. For base notes, natural Virginia white cedar dominated by ambrox and white musk.
L’eau d’Issey Miyake City Blossom is a collaboration with Parisienne artist Mademoiselle Maurice. Falsely vulnerable, truly desirable, totally evasive—these are the words used to describe this scent. For me, it is my new fragrance du jour.
