After being under the sun for hours, I decided to try a new face mask from Etude House (read about my weekend beauty rituals here).

I didn’t have any expectations for this mask. I was hoping that it would give me an immediate glow, but as you can tell from the photo, there’s not a dramatic difference. I like the subtle way my skin got radiant and dewy, but it was really anything exciting. Or so I thought.

Etude House I Need You! Aloe Mask is only P58. The photo on the bottom left is my before shot. On the bottom right is my #selfie after wearing the mask for about 10 minutes. No powder, foundation or concealer, Bellas! Just sunscreen.

Here’s what was surprising about this mask: After two hours, I looked in the mirror and noticed that my skin started glowing more. After three hours, I was absolutely radiant. When I woke up the next day, I felt exhausted since I stayed up all night writing. However, my skin didn’t even look tired. Now that’s impressive—especially since my post-mask glow lasted about five days.

So that just goes to show that you should never underestimate beauty products. Always give it a little time to see this fabulous mask from Etude House. From now on, this is definitely going to be a beauty staple and I’m so happy because it’s not expensive!
