Welcome to the all-new!

As the sun continues to beat down between monsoons and storms, we are left to scramble for any bottle of SPF that we can use because we all know sun equals sun damage. At BDJ Box, we are always on the lookout for new products that will give us the best quality without breaking our bank accounts.

My recent discovery came in the form of Japanese brand Bioré, which my fellow BDJ girl Em has been raving about since our first BDJ Makeup Party. Since I am the girl who walks to work, I have a consistent bout with the sun for about a solid five minutes. Here are my thoughts on this SPF wonder:

• The formula is different from your usual SPF fare of thick, creamy consistency. It is rather watery and runny. Not to worry, it spreads quite the right way and it dries up to a matte finish. In fact, I am quite amazed at how nice it finishes—kind of like a matte primer!
• The bottle is small enough to last a whole season of daily use, especially for some of us who still have liters upon liters of sunblock from last summer.
• It feels light and non-oily, has no scent, and doesn’t have a white cast.

Overall: I am continuing usage of this and I’ve paused my current sunblock of choice, VMV Armada Face.

What’s your favorite SPF for the face, Bellas?
