My mother swears that I used to have thick hair. Being a teenager in the late ’80s and early ’90s, hair spray became my best friend. I used it every day from grade six to seven. After that, I tried hair rebonding, perming, straightening, coloring, and… well, you get the idea. My hair has been healthy, damaged, dead, barely breathing, and now, thankfully pretty decent.
Longing for the thicker and healthier hair of my youth, I recently started using all-natural and organic hair products. The latest I’ve tried is Aloe Derma’s Aloe Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner. Made of up to 86% organic aloe vera juice (the shampoo has 70%, while the conditioner has 86%), I knew this product is as good and as natural as it gets.
The shampoo feels clean and light on the hair while the conditioner nourishes your hair and scalp without making it feel greasy. The conditioner is so good for your hair and scalp that you can actually leave it on and not rinse it off! I tried both approaches and found that leaving the conditioner on my hair gave it a bit more texture, making this ideal for hair styling. I also noticed that my hair fall has significantly lessened while using these two products.
I’ve only been using the Aloe Derma Aloe Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner duo for about a week now, and I’ve already noticed how much better my hair feels after every wash. If you’re looking for a better alternative to your everyday shampoo that will give nourishing benefits with every wash, then these two would be your best bets.
