Welcome to the all-new!

Scrubbing is important to remove dead skin. If you have oily skin, it is even more important to remove excess oil to prevent breakouts and acne.

Many commercial facial scrubs sold in the market can be painful in the pocket and may also contain ingredients that further aggravate your skin condition. Homemade scrubs are the best as they do not contain any harsh chemicals and also budget friendly. Here are four easy recipes to try:

1. Almond and honey

Take a tablespoon of almonds and grind it into powdery consistency. Add two teaspoons of honey and mix it until you get the right consistency. Apply this mixture on your face and leave it on for five minutes. Carefully scrub your face for 10 seconds, and then rinse with water.

2. Lemon juice and sea salt

Mix one tablespoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of sea salt. Massage the mixture on your face for five minutes before washing off. Be gentle, as you do not want to scratch your face with the sea salt!

3. Cucumber

Mash cucumber slices and massage it on your face in an upward motion. This is the fastest and simplest way of removing oil and making your skin smooth and clear. Rinse with water after.

4. Oats, strawberry, and lime juice

You will need three ripe strawberries, two tablespoons of oats, and ½ teaspoon of lime juice. Mix them all together until it forms a thick consistency. Apply the mixture on your face immediately and massage for a few seconds. Rinse with cold water. Your skin will immediately look and feel different.

I love these homemade recipes! They really worked well on my skin and at the same time I can use them all the time without the fear of getting allergies and irritations. Let me know which one works best for you, Bellas!
