Welcome to the all-new!

I believe that the key to having a good haircut is in knowing exactly what your face shape is. A good haircut should balance your facial features in a symmetrical way. What is your face shape, Bellas?

1. Oval

This is often tops the list as the most ideal face shape because oval-shaped women have the most options when it comes to hairstyles. The width of your forehead and jaw is pretty much the same, so you can wear your hair short, long, up, or down without affecting the symmetry of your face.

2. Long

A long face needs fullness on the sides above the chin, so bangs are a good way to shorten the face. Avoid a long, straight hairdo as this will accentuate and elongate an already long face.
Celebrity pegs: Liv Tyler, Gisele Bündchen, Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox, and Kate Beckinsale

3. Round

Chubby cheeks are cute… if you are a baby. But for a grown woman, it can pose a problem. The width of your forehead and lower face are the same, but your cheeks are full. Round-faced women need a hairstyle that adds fullness at the top of the head to make the face appear longer. Long, one-length longer cuts work better. Also try layers that fall below the chin. Avoid bangs and curly hairstyles that will emphasize the roundness of your face!
Celebrity pegs: Kate Bosworth, Olivia Munn, Mila Kunis, Hayden Panattiere, and Emma Stone

4. Square

Signs of a square face include a strong jaw and wide forehead. Without proper hair framing, this face shape can appear quite masculine. If you have a square face, the length of your hair should extend below the jawline.
Celebrity pegs: Angelina Jolie, Brooke Shields, Keira Knightley, Rosario Dawson, and Jennifer Aniston

5. Heart

This is the most standout face shape. It is characterized by a wide forehead, narrow jaw, and pointed chin. Because your face shape already makes a statement, go for a simple haircut, like a one-length style that’s long, sleek, and smooth. Avoid super short haircuts!
