Hello, Bellas! I recently came back from the Land Down Under. Aside from enjoying the wines of the valleys, this girl sniffed around the beauty stores and compiled a short list of beauty products for you to buy if you find yourself in Australia in the future.
1. Lucas Papaw, AUD 4.99 (approx. PHP 165). This red wonder tube is a gem and has a cult following here in the Philippines. This ointment aids in healing burn scars, sunburn, minor rashes, allergies, and skin imperfections. I once applied this on my acne and it was gone the next day. I am such a convert that I always have a tube in my bag. If you find yourself with constant chapped lips, too, this would be your best bet!
2. Kora Organics. I wrote about Miranda Kerr’s organic blemish gel sometime ago and being in Australia exposed me to even more of its line. If you’re a fan as much as I am, get the chance to buy them cheaper than in the US or anywhere else when you’re in Australia. Hint: The beauty packs are a steal at an average of AUD 100 each.
3. Aesop. Funnily enough, I discovered Aesop through New York and Parisian bloggers who’ve been raving about the brand. In Melbourne, every happening restaurant carries Aesop hand washes in their loo and the smell of parsley seed is surprisingly refreshing. Each 500ml bottle costs around AUD 59, approx. P1,947.
If you’re heading to Australia soon, don’t forget the brands above, Bellas!
