I’ve shared with you Bellas a trick so I can drink more water. It’s working! I’m drinking more water now. Still not meeting the 10 glasses a day but I’m definitely putting in more than three glasses of water in my system now!
Here are other ways to keep yourself hydrated:
Sip water throughout the day. Drinking a big glass of water is difficult for me because I don’t like the sloshy feeling in my tummy. So I find that sipping water helps! I use signals like every top of the hour, or after a trip to the toilet, or when I finish breastfeeding.
Have soup for lunch. I like brothy dishes like sinigang, nilaga, and tinola, too. Slurping up my meals will definitely add more water to my system.
Snack on fruits like watermelon, melon, grapes and oranges. These are made of 90% water.
Spike your drink with skin-enhancing powders. I’m currently a breastfeeding Mama so I can’t try this product that beauty bloggers are raving about: Belo Nutraceuticals Advanced Anti-Aging Collagen Powder Drink, P1,592.50 for a box of 14 packets. Just add one packet to your coffee, juice, or even your food. Each packet delivers intense moisture to your skin for a supple glow! Can’t wait to try this!
Use products that have the words “moisture” and “hydrate” on them. Here are a few I love or I’m about to try (watch for my reviews!):
