Welcome to the all-new!

Now that it’s summer, you’re going to want to tweak your lash-enhancing routine just a little bit to avoid those being a smeary mess at the end of the day. Here’s how:

1. Ditch the typical black.
Brown mascaras are more forgiving and look a lot less obvious when it smudges. Not only that, but it’s a great way to create a softer, more natural gaze during the day.

2. Don’t apply mascara on your lower lashes.
This just casts a shadow over your undereye area, making it look a lot darker (and messier) than it really is. Keep your look fresh by sticking to one or two coats on your upper lashline.

3. Quit looking down.
When applying mascara, make sure you always look down at the floor and tilt your chin up—not down. When you lower your chin together with your eyes, this allows the mascara to get on your lids a lot easier. Not good.
